Women's Club Team

The Tampa Bay Huckaneers are a diverse group of women playing Ultimate in the Tampa Bay Area. Our players come from a wide range of backgrounds and cover a spectrum of skill levels. New players are always welcome. Contact Monica Martinez, huckaneer75@yahoo.com, for more information.

Women interested in playing are encouraged to attend our open scrimmages every Wednesday 7:30 to 10:00 PM at the Coquina Key Soccer Fields in St. Petersburg. Check the Bay Area Ultimate website for updates and any changes.

We share the goals of the UPA (Ultimate Players Association):
* To promote and support the sport of Ultimate and its players.
* To increase participation in the sport of Ultimate at all levels.
* To uphold the Spirit of the Game, including personal responsibility and integrity.
* To provide a framework for players to organize and conduct competition and other activities related to Ultimate.

Individual commitment to a group effort-that is what makes a team work. Our practices are geared towards improving individually and as a team. They include conditioning drills and scrimmages, with a focus on improving our understanding of Ultimate in addition to learning specific skills and working on our own individual athleticism.
